Aspirin tolerance test

Aspirin can inhibit platelet release of endogenous adenosine diphosphate (ADP), affect platelet aggregation, and prolong bleeding time. In addition, aspirin's acetate chain can inhibit cholinesterase, block choline acetate hydrolysis, cause microcirculation of microvasculature, and prolong bleeding time. This test is mainly used to diagnose certain bleeding disorders.
