General radiographic inspection

X-rays are mainly used to detect bone lesions, but they are also useful for detecting soft tissue lesions. Common examples are chest X-rays used to diagnose lung diseases such as pneumonia, lung cancer or emphysema; abdominal X-rays are used to detect intestinal infarction, free air (due to visceral perforation) and free fluid ( free fluid). In some cases, the use of X-ray diagnosis is still controversial, such as stones (there is almost no blocking effect on X-rays) or kidney stones (generally visible, but not always visible).
