Serum butanol extract iodine
This test has improved the extraction of solvents. The iodine in T4 and T3 is used as the extract. Therefore, this method is more specific than PBI. In addition, this method is basically not affected by inorganic iodide. The diagnostic significance is the same as PBI. Above the upper limit of normal value is hyperthyroidism; below the lower limit of normal value is hypothyroidism.
