Parental height prediction

Parental height prediction method is a European scientist based on the relationship between the height of parents and the height of their children to create a formula for predicting height: son height (cm) = (father height + mother height × 1.08) ÷ 2; daughter height (cm) = (Father height × 0.923 + Mother height) ÷ 2. This formula is basically in line with the genetic laws of "high and high growing tall", "dwarf with short growing tall" and "high growing with short tall". This formula is derived from genetic principles and the growth rate of European height. In order to make this prediction formula more suitable for China's national conditions, our scientific workers "foreign serve the purpose", according to the relationship between the heights of Han children and parents in central China, the coefficients in the formula were changed to 1.11 ~ 1.12 for men and 0.948 ~ for women Between 0.980, the calculated result is more in line with China's actual situation.
