Examination of liver and ascites

Examination of liver and ascites are some important examinations of liver cirrhosis in patients with liver cirrhosis. When cirrhosis develops to a certain degree, the albumin in the body is too low, the surrounding blood vessels are dilated, and the effective blood volume is relatively insufficient. In addition, endocrine disorders, sympathetic nerve disorders, cause water retention and the formation of ascites. The formation of cirrhotic ascites marks the deterioration of the internal environment. There is often abdominal distension before the emergence of ascites. A large amount of water makes the abdomen swell and the abdominal wall taut and shiny. It looks like a frog belly. Some patients are accompanied by pleural effusion, which is more common on the right side. It is caused by ascites entering the thoracic cavity through the iliac lymphatic vessels or through valve openings.
