Serum tyrosine

There are 21 amino acids that make up human proteins. Determination of amino acids and their metabolites is of great significance for the diagnosis of congenital or acquired metabolic diseases. Tyrosine can be formed from phenylpropionic acid in the body. It is oxidized to fumaric acid and acetoacetic acid.
