Cervical biopsy

Cervical biopsy is a biopsy of the cervix, that is, a small or several pieces of tissue are taken from the cervix for pathological examination to determine the diagnosis. More commonly used in cervical cancer suspicious, or cervical smears have suspicious cancer cells, or suspicious specific inflammation, such as cervical tuberculosis. Cervical biopsy can confirm the diagnosis and determine the treatment method. Cervical biopsy is the most reliable basis for the diagnosis of cervical cancer.
