Hydronephrosis on the contralateral side of renal tuberculosis

Contralateral hydronephrosis is a late complication of renal tuberculosis and is caused by bladder tuberculosis. According to statistics from domestic sources, in 1959, 16% of 1,334 cases of renal tuberculosis relayed with contralateral hydronephrosis. In 1962, there were 13.4% of 4,748 cases of renal tuberculosis with repeated hydronephrosis.
