1. Mitral valve stenosis, severe calcification of the valve. 2. Mitral valve stenosis, severe contracture of the valve, severe subvalvular disease, can not be repaired by shaping method. 3. Mitral valve stenosis and insufficiency, the latter can not be resolved with plastic surgery. 4. Those with simple mitral valve insufficiency cannot be corrected by plastic surgery.
