Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia

Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) refers to abnormal arrhythmia consisting of 3 or more consecutive premature beats or premature atrioventricular junctional beats . More common in young people without organic heart disease or patients with rheumatic heart disease, coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy and hyperthyroidism. It is characterized by sudden arrest of tachycardia, mild panic and chest tightness, severe dizziness and even loss of consciousness due to hemodynamic disorders.
