Superficial femoral vein valve repair

Gravity of the blood column from the proximal iliofemoral vein acts on the valves of the great saphenous vein, superficial femoral vein, and deep femoral vein due to congenital valve structure dysfunction and long standing or weight bearing. Due to anatomical factors, the saphenous vein valve can be affected alone or first, followed by the superficial femoral vein valve, and the deep femoral vein valve least affected. Therefore, for patients with moderate or severe deep venous valve insufficiency, in addition to high ligation, exfoliation, and traffic branch ligation of the large saphenous vein, corresponding procedures such as venous valve repair, venous valve segment transplantation, and femoral vein should be selected. Valve band abdomen or femoral vein wall suture, semitendinosus-biceps femoris iliac vein valve replacement (referred to as myocardial valve replacement). The valve that is stretched, prolapsed and incompletely closed is shortened and repaired to a semi-straight state through surgery, so that it can be closed and closed to prevent blood from flowing backward.
