Tongue cancer

Oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors are the most common cancers, and squamous cell carcinoma is the most common in cancerous tumors. In China, oral and maxillofacial squamous cell carcinomas occur mostly between the ages of 40 and 60, with more men than women, with gums. Cancer, tongue cancer, buccal cancer, palate cancer, and maxillary sinus cancer are common. Oral cancer is north of the Yangtze River in China, which accounts for 1.45-5.6% of systemic malignancies, and 1.75-5.18% south of the Yangtze River. In India, it is more than 40% of systemic malignancies. Tongue cancer is a common malignant tumor in the oral and maxillofacial region. There are more men than women and most are squamous cell carcinoma, especially in the front two thirds of the tongue. Rare, mostly located at the base of the tongue; sometimes the lymphatic epithelial cancer and undifferentiated cancer can occur at the base of the tongue.
