Cecal ostomy

1. Complete colonic simple obstruction, whose condition does not allow radical cure, can be used for cecal ostomy, but defecation is not as complete as colostomy. Therefore, it is mostly used for temporary decompression, and the radical operation is performed after the condition improves. 2. Colon anastomosis (or repair) before or after surgery requires decompression to ensure the healing of the anastomosis.
