Intrahepatic bile duct stones are a type of bile duct stones, which refer to the stones in the bile ducts above the left and right hepatic confluence. Sometimes it exists alone, and sometimes it can coexist with extrahepatic bile duct stones, but intrahepatic bile duct stones are often combined with extrahepatic bile duct stones. Can be treated with liver resection and stone removal.
