Open reduction of sternal or rib fractures
Fractures of the sternum and ribs are common in chest trauma and can be caused by direct or indirect violence. Rib fractures are divided into single, multiple, and multiple rib fractures. If manual reduction cannot be performed, open reduction surgery for sternal or rib fractures is required.
