Gum cancer

Oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors are the most common cancers, and squamous cell carcinoma is the most common in cancerous tumors. In China, oral and maxillofacial squamous cell carcinomas occur mostly between the ages of 40 and 60. Gingival cancer, tongue cancer, cheek cancer, palate cancer, and maxillary sinus cancer are common. Oral cancer is north of the Yangtze River in China, which accounts for 1.45-5.6% of systemic malignancies and 1.75-5.18% south of the Yangtze River. In India, it is up to more than 40% of systemic malignancies. According to the degree of pathological differentiation, squamous cell carcinoma can generally be classified into grade III: grade Ⅰ is highly differentiated and low in malignancy; grade Ⅲ is poorly differentiated and high in malignancy; The most malignant degree, the incidence of gingival cancer is higher in China. According to statistics from Shanghai Second Medical University, it ranks first in the proportion of malignant tumors, mostly squamous cell carcinoma with high differentiation.
