Dorsal foot flap resection

Dorsal foot flaps are taken from the dorsal foot skin, including the dorsal foot artery and the saphenous vein, and include the dorsal medial cutaneous nerve and the middorsal cutaneous nerve. These flaps can include these blood vessels and nerves, as well as the extensor tendon . The projection line of the dorsal foot arteries can be drawn through touch perception, and the flap is designed as the central axis. The proximal end can reach the calf cruciate ligament, the distal end can reach the base of the toe, and the lateral midline can be reached on both sides [Figure 1]. The dorsal foot flap has a constant blood vessel running and is thin in thickness. It is suitable for use on the hand, but the area of the donor skin is small. This valve is forbidden when the posterior tibial artery has poor blood supply.
