Trichiasis electrolysis (freezing)
A few eyelashes with or without spontaneous eyelid inversion. Trichiasis electrolysis (freezing) preparation before surgery: 1. Check the power supply for electrolysis before surgery. Usually use a voltage of 3-6V (2 to 4 ordinary batteries). The current intensity should be 1 to 3 mA. 2. An infiltration anesthesia with 2% lidocaine is applied subcutaneously at the site of the trichiasis. 3.75% alcohol disinfects the local eyelid and surrounding skin.
