Lip eversion

Lip eversion can be caused by facial burns, trauma, and infections. Among them, scar contracture caused by burns is more common. The degree of valgus deformity and dysfunction are related to the severity of scar contracture. The lower lip is valgus, and the lower lip may be extremely valgus with eating, language dysfunction, and the development of the mandible. Post-traumatic dislocation healing, without severe infection, generally lacks tissue mass. Firearm injuries are often accompanied by severe infections that can cause extensive scarring. People with gangrenous inflammation often suffer from extensive destruction of deep tissues or scar contractures, and bone and temporomandibular joint adhesions can occur. This should be fully estimated when repairing. There are many surgical treatments and good results.
