Symmetrical muscle weakness
Progressive muscular dystrophy is a group of primary muscular degenerative diseases, which are manifested by aggravating symmetrical muscle weakness and muscle atrophy, and are genetic diseases. Duchenne (DMD) and Becker (BMD), two types of X-linked recessive hereditary muscular dystrophy, have more studies on progressive muscular dystrophy.
