21-hydroxylase deficiency
The hormone in polycystic ovary was measured as increased DHEAS production by the adrenal glands, with 21hydroxylase or 11β hydroxylase deficiency. Polycystic ovary syndrome is an endocrine disease in which the ovary is enlarged and contains many fluid-filled small sacs, with increased levels of androgen, which prevents ovulation. The most significant feature is anovulation.
