Pus in ear

Chronic suppurative otitis media is clinically characterized by repeated pus discharge in the ear, perforation of the tympanic membrane, and hearing loss. Acute purulent otitis media is called chronic purulent otitis media due to improper treatment of bacteria, bacterial toxicity is too strong, the body's resistance is too weak, or mastoiditis is complicated. The incidence of this disease is relatively high. In recent years, there were more than a thousand primary school students in the census in China, and the incidence became 0.5% to 4.3%. The incidence of farmers surveyed in Shandong, Henan, and Guizhou provinces was 1.6%. The incidence of primary school children surveyed in the UK was 0.9%. Most of the patients are young adults and rarely occur after the age of 40.
