Syncope caused by excessive ventilation

Syncope caused by excessive ventilation is a clinical manifestation of vasovagal syncope. Syncope refers to a sudden loss of consciousness, accompanied by a reduction or disappearance of muscle tone, which lasts for several seconds to several minutes to recover on its own, and its essence is a temporary decrease in cerebral blood flow. Syncope can be caused by cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, and metabolic diseases. However, many patients cannot find the cause based on clinical history, physical examination, and auxiliary examinations. It has been called "unknown cause syncope" for a long time.
