Iris inflammation

Iris inflammation is called iris inflammation (iris is the part that determines the color of the eye), and sometimes the ciliary body behind the iris is also inflamed. When the iris is inflamed, the tiny white cells in the inflammation area and excessive protein leaked from the small blood vessels in the eye float in the aqueous humor between the iris and the cornea. If there are too many cells floating in the aqueous humor, they will attack the back of the cornea and also settle in the aqueous humor. The cause of iritis is unknown. Either one or both eyes may be affected.
