Repeated ileal malformations
Duplex ileum is a type of duplication of the small intestine! Duplication of small intestine refers to a round or tubular cavity organ that appears on the mesentery side of the small intestine. The tissue structure and its blood supply are also very close. Repeated small bowel malformations can occur anywhere in the small intestine, but the ileum is most common.
