Muscle tenderness
Muscle tenderness is a clinical manifestation of polymyositis. Polymyositis is a group of unknown etiology. The main clinical manifestations are diffuse muscular inflammatory diseases characterized by symmetrical proximal limbs, weakness of the neck muscles, pharynx muscles, muscle tenderness, and elevated serum enzymes.
