Immunodeficiency diseases IDD is a group of diseases caused by a deficiency in immune function caused by hypoplasia or damage to the immune system. There are two types: ①Primary immunodeficiency disease, also known as congenital immunodeficiency disease, is related to genetics and occurs in infants and young children. ②Secondary immunodeficiency disease, also known as acquired immunodeficiency disease, can occur at any age, mostly due to severe infections, especially infections that directly invade the immune system, malignant tumors, application of immunosuppressive agents, radiation therapy and chemotherapy cause. (1) Concept: A pathological process caused by a defective development of immune organs, tissues or cells, or an abnormal or defective immune function. (B) characteristics: increased susceptibility to various infections, patients with repeated severe infections, clinical manifestations of tracheitis, pneumonia, otitis media, intracellular infection of bacteria and fungi, and malignant tumors. Etiology: Immunodeficiency diseases can be divided into two major categories according to their causes: congenital hereditary immunodeficiency diseases and acquired secondary immunodeficiency diseases. They can cause immunodeficiency or loss, and are prone to severe infection or tumor.
