Poor skin elasticity

The skin is the largest organ of the human body, with a total weight of 5% to 15% of the body weight, a total area of 1.5 to 2 square meters, and a thickness of 0.5 to 4 millimeters, which varies from person to person or location. The skin covers the whole body, and it protects various tissues and organs in the body from physical, mechanical, chemical and pathogenic microorganisms. The skin has two barrier functions: on the one hand, it prevents the loss of water, electrolytes and other substances in the body; on the other hand, it prevents the invasion of harmful substances from the outside. Maintaining the stability of the human body's internal environment, it plays an important protective function physiologically, and the skin also participates in the metabolic process of the human body. There are several colors of skin (white, yellow, red, brown, black, etc.), which vary mainly by race, age, and location. Poor skin elasticity means skin problems such as atrophy of cell elasticity and accelerated skin aging.
