Ureteritis

Ureteritis is an inflammation of unilateral or bilateral ureters. It is an inflammatory lesion of the ureteral wall caused by pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and Staphylococcus. Often secondary to infections, endogenous or exogenous injuries in other parts of the urinary system. The spread of a kidney or bladder infection is its most common cause. Another cause is delayed urinary flow due to partial ureteral innervation (urinary flow pause). Potential kidney or bladder infections need to be treated, and ureteral segments with innervation defects need to be surgically removed.
