Yellow fever

Yellow fever is an acute infectious disease caused by yellow fever virus. It is mainly transmitted by Aedes mosquito. Severe patients have fever, jaundice, and proteinuria. The main vector is Aedes aegypti in the city, and Haemophilus aegypti and Aedes africa in the countryside. The transmission route is the bite of the mosquito. The disease is endemic in the tropics and subtropics of Africa and South America. There are no reports of this disease in Asia.
