Acute salpingo-ovaryitis

Acute ovarian inflammation with acute salpingitis is called acute salpingo-ovitis. Gonorrhea infections, infections after delivery, and abortion are also common causes of this type of inflammation. Mostly occur at the reproductive age, with the highest incidence in 25 to 35 years.
