Eosinophil syndrome

Hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS), also known as hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, also known as hemophagocytic reticulosis, was first reported by Risdall et al in 1979. It is a macrophage proliferative disease involving multiple organs, multiple systems, and progressive aggravation with immune dysfunction. It represents a group of diseases with different pathogens. It is characterized by fever, hepatosplenomegaly, and reduced whole blood cells.
