Small bronchial mucosal edema

There are inflammatory lesions, edema of the small bronchial mucosa, which is common in bullae. Bullae are usually secondary to inflammatory lesions of the small bronchi. Such as pneumonia, emphysema, and tuberculosis, clinically most often coexist with emphysema. Pulmonary bullae secondary to pneumonia or pulmonary abscess are more common in infants and young children, both single and multiple.
