Escape appears

The so-called escape beat means that when the excitability of the sinoatrial node is reduced or stopped, the diastolic phase of the recessive pacing point has a great chance to reach the threshold potential, so that the excitement occurs and drives the entire heart. Passive ectopic rhythm is a physiological protection mechanism, which does not require treatment itself. If the ventricular rate is too slow to cause symptoms or hypotension, the ventricular rate needs to be increased and treatment should be given.
