Gonococcal pharyngitis

Gonorrhea pharyngitis manifests as acute pharyngitis or acute tonsillitis with occasional fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. The vast majority are infected by oral sex and kissing, and a very small part is caused by contact with germs and toiletries. In the West, due to the openness of sexual behavior, gonococcal infections in pharyngeal patients account for a certain proportion. In recent years, due to the diversification of sexual intercourse and increased homosexuality, the number of gonococcal laryngitis patients has also increased.
