Saddle nodule meningioma

Saddle nodular meningiomas were first introduced by Stewart in 1899, and Cushing was equivalent to calling them "superior saddle meningiomas" in 1929. Includes meningiomas originating from saddle nodules, anterior beds, saddle septum, and sphenoid plateau. Because the range of the anatomical structure does not exceed 3 cm, the habit of meningioma in the above area is called the saddle nodule meningioma clinically. Meningioma from the saddle, which starts from the sieve plate, sphenoid ridge, slope, etc., is not in this category because of clinical manifestations, imaging findings and surgical methods.
