Hydronephrosis

Due to the obstruction and accumulation of urine excreted from the kidneys, the retention of urine causes the increase of the internal pressure of the kidneys, which leads to the gradual expansion of the renal pelvis and calves and the atrophy and destruction of the renal parenchyma, collectively called hydronephrosis. Hydronephrosis is the enlargement of the renal pelvis and pelvis due to urinary tract obstruction accompanied by renal tissue atrophy. Narrow ducts or obstructions in any part of the urinary tract and normal neuromuscular dysfunction, the passage of urine can cause obstacles, causing urinary flow obstruction. The pressure above the obstruction is gradually increased due to poor urine discharge, and the lumen enlarges, eventually leading to Hydronephrosis of the kidneys, dilation, thinning of the parenchyma of the kidneys, and impaired renal function. If bilateral obstruction occurs, the consequences of uremia are severe.
