Aortic stenosis with insufficiency
The normal aortic valve orifice area exceeds 3.0 cm2. When the area of the valve orifice is reduced to 1.5 cm2, it is mildly narrow; when it is 1.0 cm2, it is moderately narrow; when it is less than 1.0 cm2, it is severely narrow.
