Sporotrichosis

Sporotrichosis is a chronic infection of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and nearby lymph vessels caused by the saprophytic fungus Schenckia sp., Which can spread throughout the body and cause system damage. Mycosporium schenckii is found in roses, barberry and sphagnum and other woodland cover. Gardeners, gardeners, agricultural workers and log workers are most often infected.
