Pediatric Leukemia

Leukemia is a malignant proliferative disease caused by abnormal proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells. Childhood leukemia is the most common type of malignant tumors in children. The age of onset is from birth to 14 years, but it is more common in 2-5 years. It is one of the leading causes of death in children over 5 years old. The general incidence is 3 to 5 people per 100,000 people, and the high incidence area can reach 6.6 people per 100,000 people. The type of pediatric leukemia is different from that of adult leukemia. Acute leukemia is the main type, and acute lymphocytic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia are more common.
