Colorectal hemangioma

Hemangiomas are common vascular lesions, and are generally considered to be a hamartoma, most of which already exist at birth and manifest as single or multiple lesions of the stomach, small intestine, or colon. Patients with colorectal hemangioma are only partially symptomatic, with gastrointestinal bleeding being the most common. Hemangiomas usually cause slower bleeding and produce a positive fecal occult blood test or black stool with hemorrhagic anemia.
