Acute promyelocytic leukemia

Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is a special type of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), and has been designated by the FAB collaboration as acute myeloid leukemia M3. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of understanding of the biological characteristics of APL cells and the improvement of treatment methods, the treatment results and prognosis have been greatly improved, and the early mortality rate has been significantly reduced.
