Chronic pharyngitis

Chronic pharyngitis is a diffuse inflammation of the mucosa, submucosa, and lymphatic tissues of the pharynx. It is often part of the upper respiratory tract inflammation and is more common in adults. Often due to repeated episodes of acute pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, pus irritation, or nasal congestion and open mouth breathing, resulting in the occurrence of chronic pharyngitis. In addition, it is closely related to some unexplained diseases or symptoms, such as endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic low fever, headache, dizziness, bad breath and poor smell.
