Membranous glomerulonephritis

Membraneous nephropathy (MN), also known as membranous glomerulonephritis, is pathologically characterized by the deposition of diffuse immune complexes underneath epithelial cells of the glomerular basement membrane with diffuse thickening of the basement membrane. The clinical manifestations are nephrotic syndrome (NS) or asymptomatic proteinuria.
