Xeroderma pigmentosa

Xeroderma pigmentosa is an autosomal recessive hereditary skin disease with an incidence rate of about 1: 250,000 and is characterized by the inability to repair DNA damage after UV irradiation. Patients are highly sensitive to sunlight and have photophobia. The light-exposed part of the skin atrophy, a lot of freckles-like pigments deepen the spots, and then new organisms appear, which can be involved in multiple systems, and many patients may be accompanied by eyeball, nervous system and other diseases.
