Danxiong is an acute current illness caused by feeling the evil of the poisonous epidemic. Clinically, it is characterized by fever, sore throat or associated rot, a scarlet rash spread throughout the body, and scaling and peeling after the rash. The disease can occur all year round, but mostly in winter and spring. It can occur at any age, especially in children aged 2-8.
