Malassezia

Malassezia (infection of Pityrosporum) is a superficial cuticle and hair follicle infection caused by Malassezia, occasionally causing systemic infection. At present, the research on Malassezia is more in-depth, mainly referring to tinea versicolor and furfurella folliculitis. Therefore, tinea versicolor and furfurella folliculitis were combined to establish the disease. In addition, this bacterium is related to the onset of seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis.
