Rickets of hand and foot

Acrocyanosis, also known as cyanosis of the hands and feet, is a type of peripheral vascular disease of unknown origin, characterized by symmetry of the hands and feet and persistent skin color cyanosis. The age of onset is mostly around 20 years old. It is more common in young women and rarely in men. Symptoms tend to ease after middle age, and some persist. The incidence is higher in patients with mental disorders. The patient is thin, often described as being afraid of coldness throughout the body, the skin of the hands, feet, and skin is cyanotic, the temperature of the skin is significantly reduced (cold to the touch), and the hands are swollen. Lightening, massaging both hands and feet can reduce cyanosis or restore normal skin tone.
