Cholelithiasis in the elderly
Cholelithiasis is a stone that occurs anywhere in the biliary system. According to the different parts, it is divided into gallbladder stones, extrahepatic bile duct stones, and intrahepatic bile duct stones; according to their components, it is divided into cholesterol stones, bile pigment stones, and mixed stones (cholesterol, bile pigments, calcium and other metal salts ).
