Pregnancy with hyperparathyroidism

Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) is referred to as hyperparathyroidism, which is rare in pregnancy. Primary hyperparathyroidism is caused by excessive parathyroid hormone (PTH) synthesis and secretion caused by parathyroid lesions (tumors or hyperplasia, of which tumors account for about 85%). By acting on bones and kidneys, Causes hypercalcemia and hypophosphatemia. Secondary hyperparathyroidism is hypercalcemia caused by various reasons, which stimulates the parathyroid glands to proliferate and hypertrophy, and secretes excessive PTH. It is common in renal insufficiency and osteomalacia. In a few patients, the glands are persistently stimulated, part of the proliferative tissue is transformed into adenomas, and excessively secreted PTH is known as triple hyperparathyroidism.
